The Georgetown University Ballroom Dance Team

The Georgetown University Ballroom Dance Team competes in many major competitions in the United States, as well as abroad.  Competitions regularly attended by Georgetown dancers include the DC DanceSport Inferno (DCDI) held every fall on nearby University of Maryland's College Park campus, the Ohio Star Ball (also held in the fall), the Mid-Atlantic Championships  in Bethesda, Maryland, and the MIT Open Ballroom Dance Competition.

    Team Resources


    Organized entirely by students, the Georgetown University Ballroom Dance Team includes a competitive team and offers several types and levels of classes for social members as well as team members. Members are invited to local weekly social dance outings and special classes, events, and performances on campus and in the DC area.
